Dear Sisters, Associates and Sojourners,
Another new page in the history of the United States is being written. What words and deeds will be chronicled on the pages to come? We need to play and active part, a prayerful, faith-filled part, in its writing. There are many reflective articles to guide us as we face the challenging issues that call for discernment and advocacy.
Leadership continues to provide us with LCWR's "Call To Resolution," with the non-violent-justice focus (To read more: https://nonviolencejustpeace.net/). There is the content from Pax Christi and NETWORK, the Catholic Climate Covenant and USCCB’s letter’s to President Trump which are provided at our JPIC web pages.
The calendar from Education for Justice calendar for February is here.
CONTINUE TO CALL: Call your Congressional Leaders in the Senate and state your strong desire to have a complete and thorough vetting process continue, including the review by the ethics committee and the releases of tax returns for members being considered for Cabinet roles and appointees.
Blessings,
Sara
