HCA alumna and standout basketball player Paulina Castro has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in her freshman year at NIU. Just one year ago, Paulina was leading our HCA girls basketball team to a 2nd straight regional title and IHSA 1A sweet sixteen finish. Please join us in loving and lifting Paulina and her family up in prayer.
In Paulina’s honor, we will be packing the stands for a #pcstrong night at the basketball games on Friday, February 3. We will be selling the t-shirts below to the entire HCA family over the next 2 weeks to raise money in Paulina’s honor. To show support for the Castro family, all proceeds will go to the Pediatric Cancer Research at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago which is the family’s foundation of choice. Wear your shirt to the #pcstrong night on February 3! These shirts are approved spirit wear for Lower and Middle School as well.
