Rummage Sale Continues Through January
The Middle School Yard/Rummage Sale continues tomorrow and for the rest of the Saturdays in January at the Farmers Market (8 am to 12 pm). All money made goes to the Middle School Winterims.  You are welcome to drop off gently used items on Saturdays.


This Weeks Peek into Learning
     
The Environmental Club created a vertical garden.  It is practical, beautiful, and environmentally friendly. The vertical garden will hold herbs for our lunch program.  A special thanks to Skye Blee for her vision for and initiative with the project.


Parent/Guardian Volunteer Sign Up for 2016-2017
Grove is a special school community that we all chose to join. Use the link in the title to complete the new volunteer sign up form. It takes 5 minutes. We will contact you when your help is needed.

We have 60 out of 200 families signed up! Come and join in the fun at Grove!

Announcements

Grove School Observations
The Grove School will be having classroom observations for current parents. The observations will be starting at 8:45 am with an introduction and you will be able to sign up to observe a specific subject at one of the campuses.  The available dates are Wednesdays February 15 and March 1. Please call the HS office to sign up for a date. Space is limited.  909-798-7831

HS Fieldtrip / MS Fun Run
Wednesday, January 25 will be a fieldtrip for the HS students. Grades 10 & 11 will meet at the metrolink station at 1204 W. 3rd st. San Bernardino at 7:30am. They are going to LA. There will be 2 different return times, so please see your students permission slip. The Seniors will be meeting at the HS to go to The Living Desert.  The MS students will be having their "FUN RUN".  

HS Seniors- DUE THIS FRIDAY
Graduation cap & gown order forms are due by January 27.  The cost is $38.  If there is a financial concern, please contact Beth Hauso in the HS office.

Winter Wonderland Dance 
The middle school dance has been canceled.

Senior Ads & Yearbook Discounted Price
Your 2016-17 Yearbook may be purchased for a discounted price of only $44 now through May 1. Purchase a page in the yearbook for you Senior!  The deadline to purchase and submit info for a Senior Ad is March 1st.  Contact amy.nottingham@thegroveschool.or to find out how.

Attendance
If your student  has to miss school for illness or other reason, please notify the school via email to attendance@thegroveschool.org or you may call the HS office at 909-798-7831.  If your student will be arriving Tardy, please make sure they are signed in. (Middle School - parents sign in on the clip board on the office door inside the barn and High school students may sign-in themselves at the HS office counter)

Sports Packets are available in the High School office or on the website.  A yearly physical is required.

Fundraisers

The Middle School ASB will be having a Yard Sale Fundraiser every Saturday in January, at the Farmers Market in the grass area.

PTG Scrip Sales
Scrip is sold every Friday at the Farm campus from 7:30 am - 8:30 am
and every Saturday at the Grove Farmers Market. 
A percentage of your scrip purchases goes into your "student's account". With these funds your student can use it to purchase dance tickets, yearbook, etc.  
 

Grow the Grove Capital Campaign 
We can finish the Barton School House this fall with your help!  Donate what you can and be a part of this legacy, every dollar matters! Details about the capital campaign can be found at Grow the Grove!
