New Works from Carne Griffiths, Philip Wakeham, Jo Hatty, Alex McCarthy, Rhian Malin, Alex McIntyre and Laura Rich have arrived in time for our 4th Birthday. We will celebrate on the 11th February 2017 at the new gallery in Kirkbymoorside.
We are hoping to have Robert Schmuck back to play the Schiedmayer for the afternoon and we are looking for someone to play classical in the morning!
Save the date: 11th February 2017 - 10:00 - 18:00
Two new Laura Rich oils arrived this week. More to follow shortly as Laura returns to her studio following a house move.
Several new Philip Wakeham sculptures have arrived. All unique and cast by Philip at his studios on the Devon/Cornwall border. Seriously world-class and stunningly affordable!
Two new Jo Hatty sculptures have also arrived. One was sold immediately. Shopping is still available and seriously desirable.
Alex McIntyre has created several large paintings which arrive at the beginning of February.
Harriet Peachy is a exceptionally talented Kent based artist working in multimedia. Her works involve photography, maps, coastal studies, found items and painting. The skill is immense at collating the collages. She will be visiting Bils & Rye and the North East coastline in late January as she starts to build up a body of work to display in the gallery.
We are delighted to welcome Rhian back to the gallery following a very successful showing in our Emerging Potters Show last year. As ever get in quick as these are much in demand!
Carne has returned with new works much more reminiscent of his works from 2014/2015. The palette is back, with occasional flourishes of his more recent style. They work for us!
