February 2017 Edition

News from PEC Arts Council

Learning Lunches for Artists is a monthly series presented by Prince Edward County Arts Council in partnership with the Baxter Arts Centre.

The lunches are held monthly. The next session is: Create a Vision Board lead by Rachel Comeau on February 10, 12-1 pm, Baxter Arts Centre, Bloomfield. An artist, illustrator, writer and educator Rachel will lead us through creating our own 'mini' vision board, an innovative yet simple tool that can bring clarity and focus to a creative mind. Through group reflection, we will access our unconscious and gain a fresh and motivating view into ourselves and our creative pursuits. Supplies will be provided. If you would like to bring your own, please do. You'll need: Glue stick, pencil or pen, scissors and copious amounts of old magazines.

These sessions are free to members of either the Arts Council or Baxter Arts Centre, $5 for non-members. No registration required! Bring your lunch, bring a friend. See you then!
