Sweetheart Musical Soirée on February 11
The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra has the perfect evening planned for you to celebrate Valentine's Day. On February 11
th at 7pm, come on down to the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center for a night of fabulous chamber music, delicious appetizers, desserts, wine, and great company. The festive evening will showcase performances from 2016 Young Musician Competition 2
nd place winner Olive Ryan, symphony musicians and a few special guests.

Fairy Tales on February 25
Wenatchee native and professional harpist Ellen Heinicke Foster will join the symphony on February 25
th, 7pm, at the Numerica Performing Arts Center, when she performs Joaquín Rodrigo’s beautiful
Concierto de Aranjuez. Also on the program are Ravel’s warm
Mother Goose Suite and Stravinsky’s popular 1919
Firebird Suite.

2017 Young Musician Competition
The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra has announced the 2017 Angela Schuster Svendsen Memorial Young Musician Competition to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Sponsored by the Woods Family Music and Arts Fund, the Young Musician Competition is designed to encourage and support young artists in the North Central Washington counties of Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan. Musicians will find the Application Form and Official Rules and Regulations online at

DISNEY IN CONCERT: Magical Music from the Movies
On April 22, 7pm, at Town Toyota Center, the symphony is bringing DISNEY IN CONCERT:
Magical Music from the Movies to Wenatchee. This unforgettable performance will feature Magical Music from Disney Movies. Derived from some of the most famous movie scores ever –
Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, The Lion King and more – the musical program will explore many of Walt Disney’s stories and characters through memorable melodies. In addition to local instrumental musicians, the show will feature four Broadway caliber vocalists, high-resolution film clips from iconic Disney movies and a narrative presented by the singers and conductor.
