Take the chill out of a cold, February afternoon and enjoy the pairing of two incredible musicians performing original works inspired by spiritual music from the U.S. South. Fewer and Janke have collaborated often over the years on stage, on recordings, and on film scores. The Janke’s original compositions being performed are featured on the recording Celestial Blue. SweetWater Annual General Meeting March 16 - Get involved and join the Board of Directors
SweetWater’s Annual General Meeting will take place on March 16 at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound at 7 p.m. Along with electing the Board of Directors for the coming year, updates about SweetWater activities over the past year will provided along with a report about current financials. More details will be posted on our web site and on social media feeds over the next month. Development of New Strategic Plan Underway
The first session to discuss SweetWater’s Strategic Plan for the coming three years took place in mid January. SweetWater’s Board of Directors, Artistic Director, Festival Manager, long-time supporters, and volunteers came together to begin the process. Future sessions to further develop the plan will take place throughout 2017. This new strategic plan will provide a roadmap to take SweetWater forward. Watch for more details soon.

 SweetWater 2017...Coming in September
The countdown is already on for SweetWater 2017, September 15 to 17. The 14th edition will feature another stellar line up including Russell Braun, John Novacek, James Campbell, Guy Few, Drew Jurecka, and Kati Gleiser. Saturday night will feature a special all-Canadian programme to mark Canada 150. Advance passes and tickets go on sale in April.

Georgian Bay Symphony Concert February 11
Tap away the winter blues with the Georgian Bay Symphony on February 11 as it performs an afternoon of classical dance and, not one, but two concertos.
