Welcome

Sustainability and Stewardship
It’s been a very positive start to the year, despite the heat, and we are looking forward to great things at Suncoast in the year ahead. On a strategic level, school leaders are going to take time to look at some of the exciting and worthwhile things that other schools are doing around the country and set a direction for our future. We aspire to be a leading Christian School in the fulfilment of our mission to see our children grow in their faith, character and learning. Importantly, we want every child to sense that they are loved in this community in the same way that our Heavenly Father loves and cherishes us. While it’s important to celebrate results, the real measure of our success as a school is in a child’s growth – the distance they have travelled on their journey.

A long term project that we will commence this year is to really do something significant in the area of sustainability and stewardship as a school. Read More

Help Support our Parents and Friends Association
The P&F provide vital support to students and families of the College in a wide variety of ways and they need your support to continue to do so.  P&F meetings also provide an opportunity to meet with the Principal on a regular basis and have an input on a range of important issues.

Suncoast would be a much poorer community without the stellar work and commitment of this passionate group of people, but we need more parents to volunteer their time in order to share the load. Read More

New Acoustic Ceiling for the Taylor Centre
The College wishes to acknowledge and sincerely thank the P&F for generously funding half the cost of the new acoustic ceiling in the main hall of the Taylor Centre. The work took place over the Christmas break and has radically transformed this space by significantly reducing the noise caused by chronic echo and reverberation. Anyone who has used the gym this year will attest to the remarkable difference. We look forward to running a greater range of activities in the facility and we are sure players and supporters will greatly appreciate the improvement.

Principal
