We're proud to announce that Check Organic is a two-time winner of the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Seal of Excellence, meaning we passed the quality threshold! Twice!
Check Organic is growing! We have data from Germany, the United States, Italy and Ukraine. We are especially excited about testing our new interface to the USDA NOP Organic Integrity Database. This means all USDA NOP data will be available in Check Organic. And with our partnership with FederBio, you can also get access to all data in Italy.
We've also added the Data Exchange Portal, which means you and your suppliers can easily share data with each other. Whether it's organic certificates or production amounts, the Data Exchange Portal is there to make it as easy as possible to get the data you need to make important decisions.
Following BIOFACH 2017, representatives of member organizations of Certification Alliance (CertAll) from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand will be sticking around for an Ecert Basic training. We're looking forward to hosting our guests here in Tutzing and helping them learn how to maximize the benefits Ecert Basic offers. We are here to help and value the personal relationships we share with our clients. Our goal is to support you by providing you with tools to run your organization the way you want to. 
Our FoodIntegrity work package (WP 16. Check X - Improving Supply Chain Integrity through Data Sharing) continues with even more informational interviews. This time around we've been focusing on the grain and seafood sectors, and have had some really interesting conversations with some very knowledgeable people. Now it's time to get to work on analyzing the data we've collected. In FoodIntegrity, we're applying our expertise as organic supply chain integrity specialists to the wider food industry. FoodIntegrity is funded as part of the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme and is designed to bring together and put in action measures to protect the authenticity of European food for the sake of consumers and the food industry itself.
It's that time of year again - the big start to the new year when we're busy traveling to a number of noteworthy events. We remain committed to our strong international outreach and hope to see you at one of the many events we're planning to attend. You can see our upcoming event schedule here.
