Renfrewshire Council Logistics Programme

DYW West have been working in partnership with Renfrewshire Council to support and expand their logistics programme. We have been working with West College Scotland who are delivering qualifications in vehicle maintenance and two local logistics employers, The Russell Group and The Malcolm Group who are kindly offering work experience placements.

The ten participants have all successfully achieved their forklift qualification and are currently completing their additional qualifications at West College Scotland alongside their work experience placement which the pupils are thoroughly enjoying and asking if there is the potential for them to complete additional hours!

We would like to thank all of our partners involved in the development of the Logistics Programme and well done to all of the participants for their achievements thus far!
Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2017

Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which takes place between the 6th - 10th of March 2017, provides employers with the opportunity to raise awareness of apprenticeship routes within their organisation. We're currently in the process of organising a calendar of events which will take place throughout the course of the week across all of our regions.

Stay tuned for more information coming soon!
