A Word From Our Pastor
The Greek city of Corinth was restored to its economic and political prominence under the Roman ruler Julius Caesar in the first century.
In this setting, the Apostle Paul founded the Christian church there in the year 50. The Corinthian church struggled in following God and his son Jesus Christ. They followed “many gods” and “many lords” (1 Cor. 8:5).
The Apostle addresses this problem in the church, including jealousy and quarreling (1 Cor. 3:3). This is a relevant topic today in our church too.
~Pastor Paul
This Sunday's Sermon: "Only Servants"
This Sunday's Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:1-9;
2 Peter 1:19-21

Women's Ministries
The February 21st Women’s Gathering luncheon will feature our annual Patio Sale Style Show. It is a time of great fun and great bargains. Several racks of clothing and accessories will be available for sale after the style show.
You MUST have a ticket in order to attend both the luncheon and the fashion show. It is our best-attended gathering every year, and we really need to make sure we are prepared for everyone who attends.
Tickets will be available after worship this Sunday and February 19th at the Women’s Ministries table in Fellowship Hall. The cost is $10.
The women who plan the style show, select clothing in all sizes, so we need 15 volunteers to model the crème de la crème of the clothing donations.
Please contact Cheryl Stepp (805- 551-3512), or Pat Nau (417-830-2599), if you are willing to help out.
