RSVP to Women's Supper ASAP: Due to the great response to August's Summer Supper series, we are organizing a women's "mini supper" for Friday, February 10th! Several women around the city have offered up their homes for dinner and conversation. Each host will provide a main course; attendees are asked to bring a side or drinks to share. Common Good RVA--Early Registration Extended: Tickets for Common Good RVA’s 2017 Conference are now on sale! This year’s topic is: Women + Men: At Work for the Common Good. Katelyn Beaty, author of A Woman’s Place and former managing editor of Christianity Today will serve as our keynote speaker during this conference exploring calling, career, and collaboration between women and men as we strive to glorify God in our daily lives. We’ll meet on Saturday, February 11th, 8:30am to 1:30pm at Union Theological Seminary. Visit commongoodrva.com for details. Early registration is $12 and has been extended through Sunday, February 5th; regular registration is $15 and begins February 6th. Childcare is available for $10 per child, but you MUST register by February 5th to guarantee a spot.
Enriching Marriage--February 12th & 19th: All are welcome - not just married couples. What are your goals for your marriage? What are God’s goals for your marriage? Part 1 of our Enriching Marriage course will be taught by Kim and Kevin Greene. Kim Greene is a Counselor with the Barnabas Center and Director of Women’s Leadership Development at West End Presbyterian Church. Kevin is an Associate Pastor at West End Presbyterian Church. All Christian Formation classes meet in Room 303 from 5:45-6:30pm. A light dinner is provided. Please RSVP to Joshua Earman (joshua@citychurchrva.com). We will provide meals for Sarah Lynn and Luke for several weeks as they adjust to life at home with their new baby girl.
