We wanted to send a special thank you out to Terrie Landt and all of those volunteers who spent time over the past several weeks ripping out alterations and washing our Dragon Band Uniforms. It takes a lot of work to maintain the best dressed marching band in the country. All 365+ uniforms are now washed and ready to go for 2017! Thank you!

Also, thank you to everyone who purchased a 2016 Dragon Band Photo Book. The sale was very successful and helped raise some much needed funds for our Spring semester. We have sent the book to the printer. We will receive them in a couple of weeks and will let you know how to pick them up once they arrive.
 

Winter Concert


Don’t forget about the Winter Concert this Wednesday evening at the PAC. Not only will it be an evening filled with some great music from our RRHS Jazz Bands and all 5 Concert bands, but the evening will conclude with the reveal of the 2017 Marching Shows! There will also be a brief Presentation by Chris Forsythe from Music Travel Consultants about the 2017 BOA Grand Nationals Trip!
 
 

Scholarship Applications are due soon


Summer Band or Guard Camp Scholarships


Summer Band/Guard Camp scholarships are open for any RRHS band student grades 9-11 or any future RRHS band student from Cedar Valley, Chisholm Trail or Walsh Middle School attending an approved summer band/guard camp or DCI this summer. Applications are due Monday, February 6, 2017 to your band director by the close of the school day.  Application must be filled out by the student applying.  Please download and review the application for more details.  


Senior Scholarship Applications - Class of 2017


Senior scholarships are open for any RRHS senior band student. Applications are due Monday, March 6th, 2017 to Mr. Mobley by the close of the school day.  Application must be filled out by the student applying.  Please download and review the application for more details.
 
 

Upcoming Fundraising Events


5th Annual Guard Gala


The 5th Annual Guard Gala is March 11th starting at 6:00 PM in the 1100 cafeteria at Round Rock High School. Scheduled events include dinner, music from the RRHS Jazz Band, a silent auction, and a performance by both the Varsity and JV Color Guard in the 400 Field House. Buy your tickets for $10 each from any Guard Member or by emailing rockguard@computerjocks.com.  


2nd Annual Garage Sale


We will hold our 2nd Annual Garage Sale on March 25th. This event served us well last year and like most fundraising events turned out to be a whole lot of fun.

This is the only fundraising event of the spring that will require a larger group participation. So, start going through your old stuff.

We ask that you sign up now to bring items and help both prior to and on the day of the Garage Sale.
