FEBRUARY 2017

Welcome to February at SB Library. This Sunday we host the first annual Community Read-a-thon for readers from Kindergarten through Middle School. Celebrate Love Your Library Month and unwrap a secret valentine book from our February display, or come by and make valentine cards. Check out back issues of our magazine-of-the-month: Vermont Life, or check out books by VT author Howard Frank Mosher (1942-2017). The next Winter Concert features George Voland JAZZ! Our Coming Home From War series premiers with Howard Coffin speaking on Civil War Soldiers from a Vietnam-era veteran's perspective.

Kids, teens and adults are invited to sip cocoa and color on Saturday mornings. Middle-school students are invited to learn and practice crochet every Wed. afternoon and help yarn bomb the Children's Room...older teens and adults are also welcome. Family Time features I Love Math!

The Library is closed on Mon. Feb. 20 in honor of Washington's Birthday. We open at 10:00 on Thu. Feb. 16 to allow for our monthly staff meeting.
