We are kicking off February with an interactive, family-friendly art reception for Tara Barney in our Faithe Gallery. Create a make & take project and view her artwork based on her workshops and private lessons she teaches to the community.

Since February is the month of love, we have your family’s Valentine’s events covered! On February 6th , we will be having an evening of card making for adults - make your Valentine’s cards or stock up on creating other holiday/birthday cards.  February 7th bring your whole family to our craft corner to create a Valentine’s box for your child’s school’s Valentine exchange. Bring your Pinterest ideas and we will tackle this project together! Finally, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a party on February 14th from 9am to 4pm with games, stories, and crafts.

As always, we will have our Craft Night on the first Wednesday of every month, where we will be making gift package carrier. They are fun to make and will come in handy when you need a quick gift solution. We have a new workshop this month Luminous Landscape: Watercolor Workshop on February 15th for teens and adults taught by Faithe Gallery’s featured artist Tara Barney. If you’re going through some winter blues, attend our Art Journaling class that will be offered this month on February 21st to create, express, and reflect.
 
We will be open for Presidents’ Day on February 20th and will be honoring the day with a presidential theme Storytime at 10am and crafts throughout the day. We will have Story & Craft and an Obstacle course towards the end of the month. If you haven’t already, please “like” our Facebook page for up to date information on activities and events.

As a reminder, we have free kids’ activities Monday – Wednesday from 9am-4pm. Offices are open Thursdays and Fridays. Michael Baum is the featured artist in the Main Gallery and Tara Barney is the featured artist in the Faithe Gallery until the end of February.
