One month into the new year already, and we have been very busy!

We are ever thankful to God for the opportunities He gives us, and for the support of many in seeing them through. We appreciate all the support, prayer and encouragement from so many of you. Thank you for your partnership.

'The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the broken-hearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. - Isaiah 61:1

The new 8 week Parenting Course has started well with 12 ladies. We have had some very positive feedback and they seem to be benefitting greatly from it. The insight that many of them have in the difficult situation that they find themselves in of being away from their children, really is remarkable, and they are a joy to work with.

Less than three weeks to go until Tracy & Sarah visit Kenya where they will be delivering Shine to women in prison, widows, grandmothers, orphans, and teenagers - washing their feet and praying for their needs - what a privilege!

Thank you too to those who have been praying intentionally concerning the trip. We have included a few more requests for prayer in the prayer list below, as we see this as a vital part of our preparation.

Prayer Requests

Pray for the final preparation concerning Kenya, that we will manage to get all the course resources completed and finalised.
Pray that God will be preparing the hearts of those who will receive the Shine Course, pray that they will learn to accept and believe that they have value, strength and purpose despite their circumstances. Pray for God to transform hearts and mindsets.
Pray for protection for Sarah & Tracy both before they go, whilst travelling and during their trip. Pray for good health and strength and that they will stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Pray they will be battle-ready!
Continue to pray for the Shine course that Tracy & Chloe are currently doing. This has been a particularly difficult course, pray for the attendees to really grasp what they hear and to apply it to their lives. Pray for real fruit!
Remember all those on the Parenting Course. Thank God for the positive start to the course, and for the receptiveness of the ladies. Pray for generational breakthrough as they consider different ways of parenting to maybe what they experienced themselves. Please pray for Sarah, Morag & Tracy as they facilitate.
Pray for continued financial provision for the work of ID this year.
Pray for the new Forgiveness Course that starts next week - pray it will be really helpful to those in attendance, that there will be lives transformed and healing as they consider how to forgive themselves for things they have done, and for the things done to them. Pray for renewed thinking.
