On Friday night, Shilpa Ray, The Kominas, Hearing Things, and Anish Mitra took the stage at Littlefield in Brooklyn for a concert to benefit Sapna NYC and Women for Afghan Women. Before The Wall: A Benefit To Support Immigrant Communities attracted over 300 people to support grassroots organizations working with Muslim immigrant and refugee communities.
We are so inspired by the work of every one who organized the event, bought tickets, and performed on Friday night. It was wonderful to see long-time supporters and meet new people interested in Sapna's work. The event was a huge success and we are so energized by everyone's support.
