Sharing The Journey

This month brought a few opportunities for us to share about our ministry and God’s call on our life.  Last week, we shared with a Youth Ministry class at Cairn University for their Global Mission Week.  It was great to be able to share with the students not only where we are going but also how we got there and the bumps and curves along the way.
Next month we have multiple opportunities where we will be sharing with people at Calvary Central Bucks.  lf you're interested in when we will be sharing let us know.

Will You Follow?

The last weekend in January Nate was the speaker for a youth retreat at Rock Mountain Bible Camp.  He spent the weekend encouraging the students with the question: Will you follow? The truth is we are all called to follow to Christ and we are all qualified but what does it take to follow Christ? How should we respond when disorienting obstacles keep us from answering that call.  Just like a pilot must trust his instruments in the thick clouds we explored how to have faith in Christ through the storms of life.  It was an honor and privilege spending time with the students and leaders.
Special shout out to Cassidy Ramsay from First Baptist Church of Metuchen for putting together this recap video of the weekend.

💯Days IN ... 💯Days OUT

As we write this, we have been in the support raising phase for about 100 days. It has been an experience unlike any other and if you have been keeping up with our blog, you know a little bit more of those experiences, if not, check out some of our blog posts.  But overall, it has been an encouraging experience and this phase is not only preparing us financially but spiritually and emotionally as well.  We are people-people, so establishing our team of supporters and encouragers has been such a blessing to us.  We knew we were excited about going to Panama but not we are even more excited knowing we have an awesome group of people supporting us.
At this point we are also about [if you are a numbers person, ignore my rounding] 100 days out from when we hope to be fully funded and heading to Panama.  Our hope is to reach full support by May and to be there by June. We have been so very blessed and encouraged by those of you who have already joined our support team and we look forward to seeing who else God will bring to our team.

Praise & Prayer

  • We are so grateful for those who have already joined our team and we pray that God brings others who will prayerfully and financially support us.
  • LifeBridge leadership team. Pray for continued encouragement and motivation as they take care of the responsibilities at the church.
  • Logistics.  There is a lot to figure out between now and the time we leave.  From Health Care to pet relocation.  Pray for patience and wisdom as we navigate these waters.
Thank you for you prayers and support!

What’s next?

We are now in the process of raising support and we will not leave for Panama until we reach 100% support.  This means that we will remain the Newtown, PA area until most likely sometime in 2017. Our goal is to be at full support by May 1st.
