Chancellor delivers budget presentation

On Jan. 23, Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little presented an overview of the University of Kansas to the House Higher Education Budget Committee in Topeka. The presentation focused on KU's budget and the impact of last year's $10.7 million cut to the university.

A copy of her slide presentation is available online. KU is scheduled to present before the same committee again on Feb. 9.

Chancellor's Report social workshop set

The Office of Public Affairs will again host a social media workshop to help launch the 2017 Chancellor's Report. This event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the Kansas Room in the Kansas Union. As in years past, assets will be provided to communicators from the Chancellor's Report to help promote your departments and the university.

The workshop is also a great way to learn about new techniques in social media. Please reserve your spot at the workshop by emailing Katie McCurry, senior digital strategist, at kmccurry@ku.edu.

Chancellor discusses Central District

A new Q&A on KU's Central District project with Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little is available in the latest project update, where Gray-Little discusses how the project will positively affect the campus for years to come.

More information about KU's Central District project is available at centraldistrict.ku.edu.
