Hello OC Ladies!

Thanks for joining me for Today’s Take.

Praise. We all love to receive praise for a job well done.

When someone praises us, we may want to scream, “Thank you. I know. I was wonderful!” But we seldom say that because it would sound so arrogant.

Or we may say, “Thank you, but really, it was nothing”. But that would be a lie since we really feel we did a great job and we do deserve the praise.

On the other hand, we may be ashamed to receive any praise if we don’t believe we did anything worthy of praise.

Bonnie Aldrich and her husband Steve have served with OC (One Challenge) for 44 years. Serving in Bogota, Colombia, Bonnie devoted her time assisting the Colombian church in the development of a contextual Christian education ministry. She also taught at Colegio Nueva Granada, an international school in Bogota. Bonnie recently retired after serving 22 years on the pastoral staff of Pulpit Rock Church in Colorado Springs.
