Administrative Data Pilot Grant Competition

The CPI and Third Sector Capital Partners invite local governments in California, Oregon, and Washington to apply for services under a Social Innovation Fund grant. Grant recipients will receive assistance with data linkage and program evaluation for projects relevant to economic opportunity. Applications are due by February 17, 2017.
Request for Proposals: Intergenerational Mobility 

The Russell Sage Foundation is seeking applications from early career researchers for projects that deepen our understanding of intergenerational mobility by using recently released statistics on mobility from the Equality of Opportunity Project. Applications are due by March 1, 2017.
RSF Summer Institutes

The Russell Sage Foundation is soliciting applications for two summer training institutes, one focused on computational social science and the other on methods of social-science genomics. The institutes are open to graduate students, postdocs, and beginning faculty.
State Policy Fellowship Program

Do you want to analyze the impact of state budget and tax policy choices on low-income residents Here’s your opportunity: The Center on Budget & Policy Priorities is accepting applications for the 2017 class of State Policy Fellows. For fellows interested in California policy analysis, there will be an opportunity to work at the California Budget & Policy Center. Applications are due by February 5, 2017.
Children and Families Policy Symposium

The 2017 Children and Families Policy Symposium explores the challenges that fragile families face and considers pathways to stability. The speaker lineup includes CPI research group leader Kathryn Edin. The conference will take place in Sacramento on March 1, 2017.
