Spotlight on our Members:

It is now the second week of a successful Taste White Rock season. Have you seen some of the amazing dishes prepared by our high quality participating restaurants? Last week we showed some interviews with the chef's behind the masterpieces, and this week we have more! Stay up to date with all these updates on our blog, Facebook, and by reading our weekly newsletter!

Last week we got some questions answered by Chef Jan Wait from Jan's on the Beach. Earlier this week she was featured in a special interview on 92.9 KISM Radio about Taste White Rock along with Councillor Lynne Sinclair and our Board President, Ernie Klassen. Scott Less came out to White Rock and got the inside story at Jan's on the Beach and the interview aired on Monday. See some photos below!

In the News:

West Coast Food:

If you like local and are looking for tasty eats, we suggest checking out West Coast Food's website. They feature articles on local cuisine that are sure to make your mouth water. This week they published an article on Taste White Rock! Read it here at www.westcoastfood.ca

Vancouver Sun:

As you may have noticed, businesses are closing left and right on White Rock Beach. Here at the White Rock BIA, we are very concerned and we are looking into what we can do. The lack of business at the beach is hardest in winter and we are encouraging White Rock to be a strong foundation for local shops, services, and restaurants. As a community, it is more important than ever to support local businesses! Vancouver Sun published an article addressing the issue: Read it here at www.vancouversun.com.
