Serving Grace Kids

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Please help us make Grace a place where all children are welcomed, known, and loved. You can start by serving once or twice a month with our children under five years old. They are really wonderful people that inspire our community's faith. Also, immediate help needed in the nursery at both services. If you would like to serve or have any questions, contact Matt Johnson at matt@graceseattle.org

Adult Christian Formation Series

Sundays @ 10:30AM
Between Services - Sanctuary

To many of us, the Bible can be daunting and seemingly impossible to understand. Or, for others, we can become so familiar with the story of God that it becomes somewhat disconnected from the reality of our day-to-day lives. God's story is a compelling description of the reality of our human existence, and it has everything to do with our life here and now. During this 10-week class, Understanding and Living God's Story: Connecting our Head and Heart, John Haralson and Debbie Smith will re-tell the big story of God and connect the story to the practical issues and questions we face as we live the other six days of the week. This will be a great class for people who are new to faith as well as those who have been a Christian all their life.

Artists' Way Group

We will be meeting every Thursday from 7-9PM. For more information or for any questions, contact Allyson Darakjian at allyson@graceseattle.org

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, March 1 @ 7PM

Join us in observing the beginning of the Lenten season. Lent is the 6-week period preceding Easter that has historically been observed as a season of letting go of things that get in the way of deeper relationship with God. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, as we reflect on our need for forgiveness and salvation. Nursery and Grace Kids activities available for kids between the ages of 6 months-3 years.

Daily Prayer During Lent

Most of us don’t pray as much as we would like. But, the simple reality is that God loves to spend time with us. The season of Lent is right around the corner. It begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1st. Join a group of leaders at Grace who will be committed to doing morning and evening prayer during Lent. We will be using the prayer book Seeking God’s Face and the Prayer of Examen. Stay tuned for more information.
