It's been a great year for Wayland Main Street! Through hard work and community partnership our program welcomed new businesses to our downtown, catalyzed five facade improvements, and logged 2,648 volunteer hours! Click here for Michigan Main Street Center's full annual report!

Did you know that all the members of our Main Street/DDA board are volunteers? Today we're welcoming the newest member of our board: Chase Johnson!
Chase is branch manager at Hastings City Bank in downtown Wayland and a dedicated Wayland Main Street volunteer!
Chase joined the Wayland Main Street/DDA Board in December and was recently elected to the position of board secretary.
Chase continually pulls together at Wayland Main Street events, on the Main Street/DDA Board, and as a member of the Organization Committee.
Why do we celebrate place? Because we have a place to celebrate! Our downtown district is more than storefronts and streets. Our downtown is a community. A place to gather, shop, eat, laugh, live, work, and play!
Wayland Main Street volunteers pull together to bring about positive change in downtown Wayland! Downtown Revitalization works best with many hands, minds, and voices.
