We Are All Heart for Valentines Day!

We're getting all loved up at The Handmade Shop & Gallery - with plenty of gifts and cards for you to give to your someone special!

Hearts are definitely one of the motifs of our Guest Artist this month, Flora Olney. Her porcelain ceramic plaques, sculptures and pendants are inspired by her wishing to 'send out the love' with everything she creates!
Meet Flora this Saturday 4th February at The Handmade Shop & Gallery to find out about her work, inspiration and her artistic family history!

Handprinted with love!

Flora's other great love is lino printing! Inspired by artists such as Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious, who lived in Great Bardfield which is where Flora lives and works. She will have a range of framed and unframed originals and handprinted cards - many with heart motifs. Perfect for sending to your Valentine!

King of Hearts...

This fabulous Special Edition Valentine Needle Felted Hare by Beverley Neeves aka Flossy Felts will surely steal your heart! As far as I know there is only one of these little chaps at the moment!  Hop on over really soon if you just can't live without him...

Love Cats!

If cats is more your thing then Lynne Rothery has created another stunning one-off machine embroidery piece entitled 'Feline Friendship'!
Lynne also has smaller works mounted on wood and brooches of bunnies and many other subjects available.

The Finishing Touch!

Get it all wrapped up with some special edition Valentine gift wrap packs from Jane Crick featuring two hand cut heart tags, bakers twine and her red pinwheels gift wrap. A quick and easy way to make any gift look extra special!
