The University of Chicago Harris Public Policy

A New Year, A New You

Dear Alumni,

It is hard to believe that we are already one month into 2017. The election and inauguration of our nation’s new leadership has occupied us all, with many in our community posing questions about the potential changes to come. We feel this more deeply as we interact with students who wonder about the future of policymaking and where they will fit into the professional landscape when they graduate. In that same vein, we understand that many of you, our alums, may also be waiting to see what outcomes lie ahead.

As alums, we want to ensure that you feel supported by us and by your network of peers. We are identifying the ways in which Harris can offer more services that will help you to continue to grow intellectually and professionally.

In this quarterly newsletter, we’re highlighting a few ways you can tap into resources at Harris and at the University including career support, webinars and executive education programs. We welcome your participation and feedback.

Warm regards,

Adam Heeg, Director of Career Development Office
