NEW LIGHT ILLUMINATES CNJ
One of the visual glories of this Cathedral is the great three-panelled stained glass window high up in the East End of the Chapel of the New Jerusalem.  Installed in 1994, the New Jerusalem Window was designed and installed by Christopher Wallace.  It has justifiably been called “the finest work of public art in Victoria.”  Please click here to read the complete article.

IN THE LIBRARY

Here is some thoughtful reading for Lent and Easter--a new book by N.T. Wright entitled The Day the revolution began: reconsidering the meaning of Jesus’s crucifixion.  A leading Bible scholar, Anglican Bishop and best selling author Wright suggests that the Church has lost touch with the revolutionary nature of the cross. Wright seeks to wake up the Church to its own story, to invite us to join in Jesus’s work of redeeming the world – to join his revolution.
