Schedule:
Breakfast: 7:50 – 8:30 am

Lunch:
PM Kindergarten: 11:15 am
AM Kindergarten & Grades 1, 2: 11:30 - 11:55 am

Food Allergies
Our hope is that every child can participate in the Conscious Kitchen program. However, during A Taste of the Conscious Kitchen demonstration week, participating chefs will be cooking meals in their professional kitchens, meaning we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross contamination during the food preparation process. If your child has severe food allergies, we recommend that you do not have your child participate in the lunch program this week.

This is what we can guarantee:
Vegetarian options will be available every day.
Gluten free options will be available Monday (burritos w/o tortillas), Thursday (chicken) and Friday (hamburgers w/o buns).
No nuts, or nut oils, with the exception of coconut oil, will be used in the preparation of any of the food.

Our goal is to transition to a full on-site Conscious Kitchen for the 2017/18 school year.  This will mean having an on-site kitchen. As we move forward with that process, we will work with parents to ensure that all children can participate in the lunch program safely.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

BIG THANKS to Christian Matthews who worked for weeks prior, coordinating with the other school and teams and making sure that the day ran smoothly! This event was conceived by the kids, but it couldn't have happened without the many parent volunteers who make it all happen; Sacha MatthewsLinda Geiser, Craig Danby, Guy FongPaul Normington, and Matt Reed. And thanks to Parent Alum, Aaron Lewis who emceed the day, giving the play-by-play. We also had Student Alum, Adam Geiser, come back and referee the games to keep the games fair and for the kids.

Officers Needed for PTA Board

Join the 2017 - 2018 PTA Executive Board

In March, Madera’s PTA Membership will be voting to fill positions for next year’s PTA Board. These positions are elected and any parent who would like to run is welcome and encouraged to do so. If you have ideas on how to build community, improve extracurricular programs, and generally make Madera even better than it already is, this is the best way to get involved! “New” Madera parents, you are particularly invited to contribute your skills and ideas, as you are the future of Madera and it’s your participation that will keep Madera thriving in years to come. If you know someone who has an incoming kindergartner who might be interested, feel free to pass this information along.

The PTA has a nominating committee which will submit its nominees for next year’s Board to the Membership by mid-February. They would love to hear from you if you are interested in being nominated for one of the Board positions.

The committee is currently seeking nominees for the following positions:
  • Executive Vice President
  • VP of Communications
