Saturdays - 8 AM - Shop Ride
We ride for about 2 1/2 hours every Saturday from the Outpost. Always Fun. Always Hills. Always a good crowd. (We don't ride when the trails are wet/muddy or there is a 30 % chance of rain or it rained a lot in the day prior or so and the trails need a rest.)
Show up early. We leave exactly at 8 AM.

Our friends Errin, Serbrina, and Gabriel stopped by last Saturday to hang out at the Outpost for a few hours. Errin hosts the weekly Camp River Coffee on Wednesday mornings and Gabe is the founder of the wonderful limberlost.co website. After a leisure walk with Rover through the Theatricum Botanicum, and admiration of each others' awesome camping-rigs, everyone came back and relaxed at the shop. Great times. David stopped by the Outpost and we had a terrific chat while eating freshly made brownies. Turns out there are like minded people in Boise Idaho that are about adventures and living life in a similar way. UnPredict Your Wednesday and Unpredict Your Journey are right up David's alley and a bunch of people he's around. We talked about living in the moment and what that means to us. We also had the same passion for eating brownies. It's so great to be part of a like minded community of people who celebrate good fun. Life-living moments and experiences.

Rover loves walks, but he has to wait TEN whole seconds before he can go. Poor guy.

The rainstorm that hit LA last Friday took out electricity for the canyon for the better part of the day. It was fun trying to navigate ourselves without access to electricity. No wifi or computer access, twas a great day.

Karate Monkey's are making their way to the shop, this particular KM got custom fitted with a new headset, suspension fork, and thru-axle. It came out looking great.

Surly Steamroller. A Surly that's getting rarer and rarer seen in the wild. This one is a custom build with some awesome mustache bars and old school Concor seat. A timeless build.

A wide assortment of Palomino pencils are at the shop. The only writing utensil that you need in life. They're amazing.

Replenishing stock for our friends over at Pedalers Fork in Calabasas. Stop by their place to pick up one of these cool mason jar holders and have some of their delicious food and coffee while you're there.

Our friend Christian gave us an idea to make a leather notebook cover for a notepad. Refillable via a convenient spoke retention system, it's perfect for jotting down your thought on the go.

Custom knife sheaths for bikepacking. We can fully customize them for different size knives & leather finishes. We've even made a cool quick-release leather flask mount.

Chris was inspired during his recent trip through Baja and made a few bracelets with a fun stitched pattern. It's so pretty that it may stay through our regular line-up.

Chris has had the unfortunate luck to have his previous two bikes stolen. Looking on the bright side, it just meant that he gets to have a new bike. So here he is with his new Salsa Timberjack, featuring a guest appearance from Rover.

Jeff had been waiting a while for his Surly flat bar Crosscheck. The wait was over this week and he didn't waist any time getting to Topanga when the final custom details were completed for his fun bike.

Neel wanted a do everything bike that might include some adventures. The Surly Disc Trucker is just the right bike for that and is for Neel. Such a great day when we send someone off on a Surly. Smiles all around. Including Rover.

Howard stopped by the Outpost to talk about a new mountain bike. The conversation steered its way to a new BMC. GREAT CHOICE. We have carried BMC for 10 years and going strong. We even visited them in Switzerland in 2008 and have stayed in awe of their engineering on everything they do. Congrats Howard for getting a great bike from a terrific company.

April stopped by a few weeks ago with a plan to do some touring. Naturally, the conversation included a Surly Long Haul Trucker. Everyone was in agreement that the LHT would be right. Here is April with her new bike. P. S. Rover is a hound! He jumped in the photo before we even suggested it. Must me a media hound. (Get it, media hound?)

Ray demo-ed a couple bikes, did our Saturday ride and revisited the joy he gets from riding. It quickly became a question of what bike to get and the Salsa Fargo was the answer. A few changes (Jones Bar) and some little bits. Here is Ray with his new bike.

Brandon picked up his Salsa Vaya for adventure and was literally looking around for when and where to go. The Salsa Vaya is both aesthetic and functional. So good. So Good. !!
