We are super excited to announce that Early Bird tickets are now on sale!

We would love to tell you all about the amazing line-up of artists who will be performing this year … but you know the deal … we can’t reveal any artists until the Early Bird period has closed (clause 6.3(a) of the Early Bird Non-Disclosure Act 1987).

Our team of lawyers have however discovered a small loophole in the Act which allows us to give you some hints about performers - provided we don’t actually name names … so here is a list of just a few of the many highlights:
 
International Act from USA – Not only has this band single-handedly invented a new genre of music they call Jewgrass, but the lead singer’s face has also appeared on over 1 million packets of Streit’s Matzos in America!!

Song of Songs Concert – This 90-minute concert will feature a dozen of Australia’s best-known singers each performing a song written by a Jewish songwriter that has special meaning to them. Amongst this year’s stand-out performers is a singer whose band has sold over 30 million albums, a Eurovision Song Contest contestant and a singer whose song about a street in Rose Bay went to No. 4 in 1975!!!

Classy Classical Acts – This year we have not one but two classical performers – one whose music was performed at the Sydney Olympics and the other who has played in front of the Dalai Lama, George W Bush and Vladimir Putin!!

Tribute Show – Direct from New York comes a show honouring one of the greatest Jewish female soul singers of all time.

And that’s just a hint about five, of a total of nearly 30 acts, that will be performing on the day!

When: 11:00am to 10:00pm Sunday 7 October 2018

Where: Emanuel Synagogue’s newly renovated campus in Ocean Street, Woollahra

Early Bird Price: $65 + booking fee

Deadline: Sale ends 31 July 2018. Prices then rise to $75 + booking fee.

Discount: A further 10% discount available to Emanuel Synagogue members. If you are a member (names will be checked against membership records) on the Enter Details screen simply enter the discount code: emanuel member

As a volunteer not only will you get free entry to the festival, but you will also receive a T-Shirt featuring this year’s uber cool Shir Madness design.
