The Tall Ships Races are starting tomorrow with an event in Sunderland, UK. The Tall Ships, Small Ships and Yachts have been gathering in harbour for the celebrations. Soon, the trainees will board and the vessels will embark on Race 1 to Esbjerg, Denmark.

With dozens of vessels and hundreds of trainees, the Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta was a huge success! The Ships raced around the Irish Sea and on to France, while spectators in Liverpool, Dublin and Bordeaux enjoyed visiting the open ships, watching the Crew Parades, and of course, the Parades of Sails.

Once again our vessels didn't disappoint, with Adventure Wales, Atyla, Gallant, Maybe and Morgenster each getting rewards for races and port activities.

Read a log from journey on board the Morgenster, written by mentor Robin and trainee Agathe: A Human Adventure.
We are very excited to announce a new journey of the Twister. This time the Ship will sail from Europe, via the Canary Islands, to the Caribbean and back while carrying and exchanging fair trade items. Thus the Twister joins a growing fleet of sailing vessels with mission of sustainable trading.

You can join one of the legs as a Guest (and you're welcome to bring your children!) or as a Trainee - Crew member. These second opportunities are longer and open to young sailors aged 18-25. If you want to join a career in Sail Training but need more experience, this might be the opportunity for you!
