A Letter From The President

Appeal for Volunteers

Dear Fellow Cottagers,

As you must know by now the board and the association are very active and aggressive in our mandate to keep all residents and cottage owners aware of all things affecting our enjoyment and appreciation of the lifestyle we choose by living here on the lake! This isn’t always easy or without effort. We share a love and passion for our surroundings and the Community we have built and it shows in the turnout at our regatta, chili contest and movie night events! We are very much in need of a couple of strong individuals who can manage a small portion of the whole of what we do.

We need people to take on the following tasks: treasurer, web site manager and fund-raising database. The person(s) currently doing these things is already managing so many other parts of the process and we do not want to overload anyone at the risk of losing them!

Please call either me or Nancy or Sue if you want to chat to determine if the task or workload is something you could fit into your schedule. The jobs are really not a huge demand on their own! As a team we get it done! As a larger team we can get it done bigger and better!

Kim Letto, President      705-313-6057
Nancy Boyce, Vice President, Membership      705-772-3928
Sue Flanagan, Vice President, Social Convenor      416-509-3246

Thanks for your consideration,

Sincerely,
Kim Letto
President, Big Bald Lake Cottager's Association

The Municipality of Trent Lakes has just announced a FIRE BAN. We will email our lake residents once the ban has been lifted. You may be aware that there have been forest fires in the area. This ban will help to keep us all safe.
