Our next book, Dear Seller: Real Estate Love Letters from Los Angeles, is a collection of memorable letters by those who attempted to win the hearts of home sellers with their words and stories in order to win the bidding war for the home of their dreams. More than 30 contributors share their stories in the book, including Neela Banerjee, Lili N. Barsha, Sofia and David LaMattina, Edan Lepucki, Robin Sukhadia, and D.J. Waldie.
The book will be released in September, and presales will start soon! A portion of the proceeds from the book will go to an organization working to end homelessness in Los Angeles.

You can find Narrated Objects’ books at more stores in L.A. thanks to our new vendors: Piece by Piece at Mercado La Paloma (Figueroa Corridor), Kumquat (Eagle Rock), and Grow Kid Grow (Silver Lake). Please visit these amazing local businesses! We are proud to have our products in their stores.
Our publications would not be possible without the support of the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) and the L.A. Chapter of the Awesome Foundation. The Creative Economic Development Fund (CEDF) from CCI also provided us incredible business training and loads of inspiration by connecting us to other L.A. “artpreneurs.”

Our contributors and partners are involved in so many cool, creative projects that it’s hard to keep up. Here are two events featuring We Heart P-22 artists not to be missed this month!
Jason Lockyer’s solo show, “Imperfect Beauty,” is at LA Artcore in Little Tokyo, and Dominie Apeles has pieces in the “Kids’ Imagination Art Show” at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland in Eagle Rock. Part of the proceeds from the art show will support Center for the Arts Eagle Rock.

It’s been an incredible year so far for Narrated Objects. We did two events at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, joined the Natural Wildlife Federation at their booth at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and, most recently, shared We Heart P-22 with kids at the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock. We love what we do, and none of this happens without a larger community of care that supports our artists, our editors, our printers, and our families. Your support makes all the difference!
