Change to Bin Collection
From Monday 6 August, a new contractor will be emptying the bins in Mole Valley. Your normal bin collection day remains the same, you just need to put your bins out at the slightly earlier time of 6am.

Official Opening Event
The community football facilities at Meadowbank in Dorking were celebrated at an official launch event on 6 July when speeches were made and enjoyed by representatives from the on-site partners.

Homelessness Award
We're proud to have received recognition from the National Practitioner Support Service for ongoing work in preventing homelessness. We are one of very few councils to attain Gold Standard status.

RideLondon is Coming
The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey races come to Mole Valley on Sunday 29 July. Road closures will be in place, but some routes will still be available into Dorking and Leatherhead, as will parking options.

Work is Now Underway
Local residents of all ages can look forward to a new playground and skate park at Kingston Road Rec later this summer. The playground is temporarily closed whilst refurb work is carried out.

Oak Processionary Moth
The Forestry Commission has issued advice about what to do if you see Oak Processionary Moth caterpillars or nests (pictured) in Mole Valley. If you do, you need to "spot it, avoid it, report it".

Team Mole Valley brought home a number of medals from the annual Surrey Youth Games competition. The district's young sporting stars did themselves proud, all the while having great fun.
