Day of 1000 Musicians
Saturday, July 21st, is the Day of 1000 Musicians, Niagara’s version of Rockin’ 1000–an ambitious attempt to gather 1,000 musicians to perform simultaneously for the largest Canadian rock show ever. The free community event at Firemen's Park hopes to inspire young artists to become all that they can be in the music industry–a future star or the next big rock band! If you can play three chords, you can come out and play. If you can sing karaoke, you can come out and sing. If you want to become part of an event that is sure to be talked about for a long time, register to play.
Admission is free and the City will offer free parking and shuttle services all day from the Gale Centre (a short trip from Firemen's Park). Donations to Project Share will be gratefully accepted at the event.
