Antarang employs over 150 trainers who are the nerve centres of the organisation. The annual trainers retreat is essential to promote co-learning, team building and communication skills within our CareeReady trainers!
At this year's retreat our trainers better understood our employability diagnostic tool through a session by our partner organisation Adhyayan in collaboration with Stage-Left Mumbai. Imogen who conducted the session on their behalf is a student from the London School of Theatre and Drama. It was a day full of learning, laughter and celebrations !
If you or anyone you know is interested in being an employability skills trainer with Antarang do write in!

ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS
Employees from JP Morgan donated their time by helping students from Mumbai's municipal schools complete the online registration process for their 11th grade admissions. This process, coordinated by Antarang as part of the intensive CareerAware - the career guidance program targeted at 9th and 10th grade students, encouraged corporate India to contribute to strengthening school to higher/vocational education transitions.
TATA PRO-ENGAGE RESULTS OUT SOON!
Antarang will soon receive the results from Tata ProEngage 8! We can't wait to welcome the latest crop of volunteers who will become mentors to Antarang students.

PROJECT AASHIYANA
This partnership has led to us to collaboratively build a training model that enables employability transitions for vulnerable children who exit institutions as young adults. As a pilot project 16 young boys from the David Sassoon Children's home in Matunga, who are 18 years + and thus of employable age, were trained in work readiness skills and work ethics, and we are in the process of connecting them to career opportunities of their choice.

Young Achiever of the Month
After Sonu graduated from CareeReady, he realized that he was passionate about youth employability and joined our Community Engagement team as an intern. Since then he has influenced many more young adults like himself to embark on their journeys towards self reliance. In a community collaborative recently organised by Antarang to bring together various CBO's in Cuffe Parade, Sonu proudly and confidently shared his views with the participants of the event.
