To help jump start my creativity, I have started to give my updates themes. I either test out new supplies, new designs or just go all out with curse words.
This month was kind of an extension on last months experimenting with surface design!
Here is the recap:
I made this new style of necklace purely by accident. I was making jewelry with my daughter and we were using some of my basic laser cut pieces. I wanted to see what painting on the acrylic would look like. While I was doing that my daughter was making resin necklaces, so after the paint dried I added a layer of resin on each necklace to protect the paint. I enjoyed the process so much that I just kept going! 40 necklaces later and I have a shop update!

This month my daughter also has a couple necklaces designs floating around the shop!
They are super cute.
The Pin Cushions are also from a previous update, but this time around I experimented more with layers and fillers.

Last, but not least, is the "Label Me" Lapel Pins. These came from a conversation I had with a friend about the labels others put on me and other artist friends. I thought a set of pins saying all the different labels I could be given would be neat. basically I'd be beating everyone to the punch and labeling myself! I went all out and made a bunch of them for this shop update!
