1. Our legal basis for collecting and processing your data: When subscribing to our newsletters, you are consenting to us collecting and processing your personal data in accordance with the EU GDPR. We process your details to deliver content to you using email channels. The nature of the content is determined by your selection and we also use your selection to segment our content accordingly.  You consent to the placement and use of trackers in the content delivered to you for the purposes of performance analytics. These trackers, for example, track when you’ve opened our emails, or when you click one of the links contained in our newsletters. These counts are collated in aggregate form to measure the performance of our content communications and improve their relevance to you.

2. Your rights as a data subject:  Under the EU GDPR, you benefit from certain rights including the right to access your personal details held on our databases, to correct them, to ask us to remove them, to restrict us from using them, and the right to ask us to move your personal details to a new provider should you wish to port your personal details. Should you wish to use any of these rights contact privacy@esomar.org where our team tasked with data protection and privacy can address any concerns or requests you may have.

3. Whom we share your details with for the purposes of this service: In order to operate our newsletter service, your personal details will be stored with our data processor: Netsuite (an Oracle company). Netsuite is a US-based partner that complies to the EU-US Privacy Shield and we have signed a contract with them to ensure they protect your data with the same rigour as ESOMAR. We do not share details you have provided to us by consent to any other partners. You can find out more about our partners on our privacy policy.

4. How long we will keep your details: Except in circumstances where you are interacting with any of our other services, we will keep your contact details on our database for a maximum period of two years following your consent. We will periodically seek to renew your consent should you wish to stay on our databases for a longer period of time in order to ensure there is no disruption in your newsletter service.
