What a sweltering end to a fantastic year.

As I sit down to draft the final blog of 2017/18, my thoughts turn in one direction: the fantastic achievements of each of our Year 8 leavers. The headlines are thus:

In Common Entrance this year, they achieved 12 A*, 13 A, 39 B and 26 C grades - an incredible achievement and something the children and staff should be very proud of.

Once again our record in winning scholarships is outstanding for a non-selective school: from the thirteen pupils, they should be warmly congratulated on winning 2 academic scholarships, 3 sports scholarships [...]
