Please contact info@nofas-uk.org if you need a scholarship. This programme is self-funding, we are making efforts to keep the costs low. That said, we will not turn away anyone for inability to provide registration fee. Please contact info@nofas-uk.org if this is an issue for you.

Send cheques to NOFAS-UK, Suite 022 China Works, 100 Black Prince Road, London SE17SJ
Or pay via transfer to: NOFAS-UK, Adam Bank, Sort code 82-91-36, Account 16569701
(We are hoping to have PayPal up and running in the coming days as well - will let you know when that is available.)

Parents are responsible for their children. A parent/carer MUST be on site at all times.

Please bring your own packed lunches. The town has both Tescos and an ASDA near the location where people can pick up sandwiches, etc if need be.
There may be optional opportunities to go to a swimming pool - parents/carers would be responsible for this addition cost of £2.20 per child and £4 for adult who is swimming.

As mentioned in our advance notices, this is a pilot programme to help shape future events. We are doing this at a barebones cost (the hope would be to use the results of this pilot to seek funding for future years). We expect hiccups and appreciate your goodwill as we work together to get this programme off the ground.

Though a formal diagnosis is not required for participation, FASD will be discussed openly with the children and young people and the goal is to help those with FASD become self-advocates and to help their parents/carers/support people become stronger advocates for their loved ones.

We are not providing housing and we are unable to help with travel arrangements (with the exception of a few speakers/resource people). We have checked - the two closest hotels both have a lot of availability.

Premier Inn, Marsh Lane, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9QB (closest, potentially possible without a car)

Fanhams Hall Fanhams Hall Road, Ware SG12 7PZ, England (car needed)

Ware has a local train station. If you are coming without a car, participants may be able to informally carpool to get people from a hotel to the school where the meeting will be held.  Before booking, it might be worth checking some of the discount sites like booking.com - we have noticed there are some great deals for Fanhams Hall available.

Thanks very much - we are really excited to see how this goes. See you soon in Ware!
