Registration is now open for the 2018 Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Workshop in Chicago, IL! This is a three-day workshop designed to assist grantees in addressing obstacles that are preventing their programs from moving toward closeout.
The workshop series is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced NSP grantees and gives attendees the opportunity to register for the session that best suits their needs. Some topics that will be covered include national objectives, Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) reconciliation, held properties, and rental compliance. These sessions will include a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, and technical assistance (TA) and are valuable for every NSP program practitioner.
The three-day workshop is divided into two sessions. Participants can register for one or both sessions. Session I is two full days and includes a hands-on DRGR training for beginner DRGR users and a joint session on closeout preparation with Session II attendees. Session II is geared toward more advanced NSP grantee staff. This session is a day and a half beginning on the afternoon of day two with a joint session on closeout preparation with Session I attendees. Session II concludes the workshop on day three with more advanced training and TA in a clinic-style environment where grantees can engage with TA providers to address specific NSP concerns and attend small group learning opportunities. Grantees will need to register for both sessions to be considered for the full three-day workshop.
