Adult Sunday School Classes – This week we will have as our guest missionary speaker Louella Graves, who is following the Lord's leading to establish a women's residential rehabilitation center for recovering addicts here in Clarksdale.
Neighborhood Canvassing for BBC - Monday evening at 5:30PM we will go out into our neighborhood to do a final inviting to BBC. If you can't help at the event, you can help us in this way!
Backyard Bible Club – July 10 – 12 (Tuesday-Thursday), 9 -11 AM. Talk to Cyndi Larson 662.902.8373 about how you can serve. To sign up your child or grandchild, visit the church website or fill out the form in the bulletin and place it in the offering plate.
Magnolia Trees – When you come to worship this Sunday you will notice that workers are in the process of removing the magnolia trees closest to the sanctuary. Because they are beautiful, their removal is disappointing to all of us, but it is necessary because they are damaging the structural integrity of the sanctuary. This is the first step in the major building improvement initiative we have begun. You will be hearing more about this in days to come as we undertake a small capital campaign to enable us to address crucial property issues.
Fellowship Breakfast -- Will not meet in July or August.
Deacons' Meeting - Wednesday, July 11 @ 6PM.
Young Women’s Bible Study – We are meeting this summer on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 in the parlor, now through August 1 to study 1 Samuel. Childcare is provided for infant-school aged children. Contact Leslie Dean 601.260.2288 for more info.
Young Men’s Study – We are meeting Tuesday mornings at Meraki from 6-7:00 am. We’ll be going through the book “Act Like Men” by James MacDonald. Contact Mark Noland 662.902.6130 for more info.
