Thursday 12th July 2018, 7:00pm – 8.00pm, at the Old Library

Levenshulme Old Library CIO will be holding its AGM this coming Thursday,
to enable you find out about all the great things
that have happened this year, and get involved.
The first time we've been able to hold our AGM in the building!
Because we're now open for business. And so much to celebrate!
We have raised over £60,000, and have 3 permanent organisations in residence: AllFm, The Owl and the Coconut and Levenshulme Youth project. And delivering a wide range of activities already, including those through the Levenshulme Fringe, that wraps up on the 13th July 2018.

A little bit of history
The Levenshulme Carnegie Library, opened in 1904, was closed in 2016. It is now re-opening as a multi-purpose art and culture space, run by, and for the local community.
 
There is still some way to go before the library can function fully as an arts centre. The trustees of the Levenshulme old Library Group are keen for the local community to come and experience the unique ambiance of this fantastic space. With the first tenants already engaged and already working in the space, the trustees hope it will provide a central point for cultural activity and community in our neighbourhood.
