Hello <<First Name>>!
I've got two sonic updates for you.
Hope the Summer is treating you well. X

BBC Radio 3 Concert, July 15th

Very much looking forward to bringing some of my international works to my home base UK!

This Sunday, July 15th, I'll be performing solo on grand piano and electronics in a mixed set of cross-genre pieces. Featuring a soundscape piece created by recordings of singers of the South Iceland Chamber Choir calling and hooting as if they were flocks of birds and wildlife -  while perched on the grassy banks in the magnificent landscape of Snaefelsness in Iceland.

These recordings I've programmed into software instruments and are preserved in my self-built music interface made from cream jar containers which function as my performing instruments. Everything is possible!

If that wasn't enough I will be very pleased to introduce you to my very own ensemble. Together we will be playing the UK premieres of my latest works 'Fell' and 'Sylt', which were premiered by the Nordic Affect ensemble in Reykjavík last May.

I have to thank the PRSF The Composers Fund for enabling me to write these two compositions.

Arts Collective Lost Property will be staging an all day building takeover at the historic and magnificent De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, East Sussex. Our diverse live programme will be split over three stages featuring installations, presentations and interactive sound activities throughout the day.

In the evening the event will segue into Radio 3’s Exposure event presented by Verity Sharp. For this we have collaborated on the line up, adding contemporary composer and pianist Jobina Tinnemans.

Totally Radio introduces the De La Warr Takeover programme in their current show, available to listen to online here. The show starts with Nordic Affect ensemble premiering my latest work 'Fell' in Mengi, Reykjavík, last May.

This event is FREE but booking is required. More details here.

Jobina Tinnemans is supported by PRS Foundation’s Composers’ Fund a new opportunity for classical composers with a strong track record, supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

Next Panoramic Score Composition, Sept 22

I'm extremely thrilled to introduce to you my next gigantic Panoramic Score production. This time situated on an incredible on-location setting at the Fort Process Festival in Newhaven, UK. Photos below show the buildings and structures where I'm going to compose the panoramic scores for. The sheet music will wrap itself through the spaces. The echoing sound qualities of the tunnel are mind blowing beautiful.

More updates in next newsletter, but this festival has very limited tickets, so book now to avoid disappointment. Check out the rest of the programme! It's an experimental sound and art festival not to be missed.
