Il ripopolamento dell'Ululone appenninico
Ad un anno dalla conclusione degli interventi per il ripristino dei siti riuproduttivi nelle aree del versante toscano del Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna, sono stati realizzati i primi interventi di ripopolamento dell'Ululone appennico.
Oltre alla creazione di fontanili, pozze e piccoli stagni, nelle aree di intervento sono stati fatti numerosi ripristini vegetazionali, andando a mettera a dimora piantine di specie floristiche costituenti l'habitat 6430 "Bordure planiziali, montane e alpine di megaforbie idrofile", riprodotte e coltivate nei vivai dell'Università di Pavia e dei Carabinieri Forestali.
Durante la primavera del 2018 sono state raccolte le ovature di Ululone da popolazioni in buono stato di conservazione presenti in Emilia Romagna. Le uova sono state poste in acquari presso il Centro di riproduzione e allevamento ex situ, predisposto nei locali del Parco di Corniolo (FC), ed i girini sono stati allevati fino ad uno stadio avanzato della metamorfosi, per poi essere immessi tra maggio e giugno nei siti riproduttivi della Toscana.

The restocking of the Yellowbelly toad
One year after the ending of the interventions for the restoration of the reproductive sites in the Tuscan areas of the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, the first restocking interventions of the Yellowbelly toad were carried out.
In addition to the creation of watering holes, puddles and small ponds, numerous areas of vegetation restoration have been done in the areas of intervention, going to plant floristic species constituting the habitat 6430 "Planitial, mountainous and alpine borders of hydrophilic megaforbes", reproduced and cultivated in the nurseries of the University of Pavia and the Carabinieri Forestali.
During the spring of 2018 the eggs of Yellowbelly toad were collected from populations in good state of conservation present in Emilia Romagna. The eggs were placed in aquariums at the ex situ breeding center of Park located in Corniolo (FC). The tadpoles were bred up to an advanced status of metamorphosis and then in May and June restocked in natural enviroment of Tuscany.
