Frank's Underwater Sports, Inc., located at 312 W. 33rd St., is the third oldest dive store in the United States. The store offers scuba training, scuba diving and snorkeling equipment and dive trips. Frank's chose to locate in Edmond because of the active lifestyle and frequent destination travel of the Edmond and north Oklahoma City communities as well as the strong aquatics programs in the area.

Frank's continues to contribute to the development of diving equipment, displays and underwater training to improve the sport and knowledge of the underwater world. The staff also helps those wanting to become marine scientists, marine animal trainers and divers with military, police and fire departments. Recently, divers at Frank's helped to develop the most advanced Open Water Diver training materials that are available digitally and for students, both online and downloadable to an app in more than 30 languages.

With four generations of divers on staff, Frank's can appeal to all ages of divers and help them find their interest in the underwater world and teach them how to protect it. The staff hopes to expand and nurture the fourth generation of Frank's divers in Edmond and Oklahoma and is excited to introduce everyone to the amazing world that is underwater.

The facility is expected to open in November 2018.
