Stronger Together, Join an Alliance Team

At our Summer Steering Meeting, members mapped their organizational priorities, capacity, partners, resources, and identified overlapping areas of interest and emerging issues.

The results are in! We have new teams to coordinate around regional priorities! A brief description of each team and sign up form can be found on our website.

Honoring Vickie Terry

Optimistic. Hilarious. Passionate. Fierce. These are just a few words Alliance members used to describe and memorialize Vickie Terry, a community leader and mountain protector who graciously shared her sunshine with so many of us.

Vickie's Celebration of Life will be held Aug 3-4 at the Rose Ridge Retreat in Clairfield, TN. Gifts or donations can be sent to her daughter April.

Black Lung on the Rise, Benefits at Risk

Upcoming Events

June 28th Southern Appalachian Mountain Stewards are hosting a Farm to Table tour and dinner with Mountain Rose Vineyard.
August 3rd - 4th is Kentuckians for the Commonwealth's Annual Meeting in Berea, KY.
October 20th -21st the Alliance will be hosting a fundraising training with Peace Development Fund. Location TBA.
