The HSS synovial pathology interactive scoring directory includes images and instructions on how use the scoring system. Illustrated histologic features from synovial frozen sections can be used to predict whether the synovium is of the low-, mixed-, or high-inflammatory subtype.

Cornell Center for Health Equity Research Grant Awarded


Susan Goodman, MD, and Iris Navarro-Millan, MD, have received a grant from the Cornell Center for Health Equity for a pilot research project on understanding the barriers to care for black patients with symptomatic arthritis. The working group will develop a topic guide and conduct a series of focus groups to gain insight into the barriers to care in this community in order to develop a survey to quantify and prioritize the barriers.
