Training & Behind-the-Scenes Work
As this month flew by, we tried to make the most of the summertime (it's HOT here!) and to continue to meet our neighbors. We were blessed to be able to host more people in our home for dinner, enjoyed some playdates with new friends, and joined swimming lessons (mostly for the girls' livelihood :) but also to meet some people in the community.
This month, Dan spent a few days in New England working with a church to mentor some of their staff in production. He also has been working hard to build a big project for Europe: A brand-new, completely reimagined website for the Europe Region. Not only will this website serve Europe missionaries, but it will provide U.S. churches, pastors and supporters with important information about Europe's missionaries (there are more exciting communication pieces that will be launched soon!) and it will give potential short or long-term missionaries the resources that they need to begin their journey and ministry.
We spent the Fourth of July in a nearby city with some lifelong friends from Pennsylvania, and Dan's parents (Mimi and Poppy) came to visit this month, so we got to spend some quality time with family, which is a really special thing when you're far away from all of them.
We're gearing up for a pretty big August, and we'd appreciate your prayers! Thanks for standing by us as we serve and share Jesus as creatively as possible in Europe.
With gratitude,
Dan & Alicia (Paisley, Piper, and Ana!)
