Thank You!

We are so excited about the powerful ways in which God worked through the Carnival Worker Meal and the Fair Tent Minsitry. We are so grateful for the many volunteers who gave tirelessly to make this  outreach a success. Thank you for your faithful partnership in this ministry. Enjoy these highlights from the week! :)

Prayer Requests from the LeTexier Family in France!

Thanks for being a weekly prayer partner! ~ John and Darlene

PRAISES
-Thanks for praying for Karis's passport application.  Somehow her passport was sent to the wrong person, and we received someone else's passport.  The USA consulate told us this is a very unusual occurence.  Thanks to your prayers however, Karis's passport was located, and we will be receiving it this week.

-Thanks for praying for our passport application.  The appointment went very smoothly, and we were given temporary visas while we wait for our first permanent visa "card" :)

-Our meeting with our teammates went very well, and we are very encouraged in how the LORD is leading us.

PRAYER REQUESTS
-Pray that we will have some focused and memory-making time with our kids this week and the days until August 25th when we take them to the Black Forest Academy for the coming academic year.  We are grateful for these summer weeks with all three of them together.

-Pray for John this week as he turns 50 years old ;)

RECC News

RECC is Nut Free!: Due to the increasing number of folks with nut allergies, we're trying to be as "nut free" as we can be. We request that all food items brought into the church be nut free (this includes nut butters as well). Thank you!

Backpack Program: The Roseau Food Shelf is partnering with the Backpack Program to provide nutritious food to help needy children get through the summer months.  Students can be pick up food at 2:30pm on Thursdays at the District Conference Room at the school. While food donations are certainly appreciated, monetary gifts are best as the Food Shelf is able to obtain special pricing unavailable to the public. Monetary donations may be sent to Roseau Area Food Shelf (c/o Mavis Walhberg, Treasurer, 309 7th Ave SE, Roseau, MN 56751).

Usher Sign-up: Please sign up for the Sundays you can serve - signup sheet is in the lobby. At least two ushers are needed each Sunday. Contact Gregg Iverson: gregiver@marvin.com or Glen Johnson: glenojohnson@gmail.com.
